**Responsibilities** THE CENTER FOR TRANSITIONAL NEURO REHABILITATION a department of the Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, is a milieu-oriented treatment center for persons with brain injuries. The Center is designed to provide an intensive, systematic day-treatment program for adult and older adolescents. Our efforts are not limited to the important tasks of helping patients walk, communicate, and attend to self-care needs, but ultimately to help patients become independent in the home and community, re-establishing satisfying relationships with their families and friends; and to help them become productive members of society, whether at home, school or in the work force. Provides patient care including evaluating patient, developing plan of care, establishing goals, and assessing progress toward the attainment of goals. Consults with other health care disciplines to coordinate treatment and discharge planning. Performs patient clinical care. Serves as resource by sharing expertise and knowledge.
