The largest device company in the world - with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care - is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join their team!_ **Schedule:** M-F 8a-5p **Location:** Belmont, CA **Pay Rate:** $54-$60/hr **Responsibilities:** + Design components, systems, and prototypes for medical/scientific products + Conduct engineering analysis to support development and troubleshooting + Develop and execute test protocols for prototypes and components + Create and manage detailed product drawings and documentation + Design test fixtures/systems and conduct Gauge R&R and validation activities **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering + 5 years' experience + Proficiency in Creo (preferred), SolidWorks, or other CAD software + Experience designing test fixtures and systems + Experience with test method development and validation for design verification + 1-2 years of experience in the medical device industry (preferred) **_***This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
