Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting patients by providing high-quality therapeutic services while also assisting with key administrative tasks. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patients' mental health and well-being, improving overall patient care, and reinforcing our commitment to holistic healthcare.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations using interviews with patients, families, and other relevant individuals.

Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral needs.

Collaborate with an in-house Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner as needed for medication management consultations.

Provide crisis intervention to ensure the well-being and safety of patients in critical situations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and clinical records, including treatment details and any prescribed medications.

Stay informed on best practices in psychotherapy by engaging in continuing education, attending conferences, and networking with professionals in the field.

Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, policies, and procedures.

Conduct both virtual and in-person sessions as required to meet patient needs.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

Completion of required training for NYS registration, including BLS, ACLS, and Infection Control Training.

Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and a minimum of one year of experience as a licensed therapist.

Fully licensed to provide counseling in New York State (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC preferred).

Additional certifications in ABA, DBT, CBT, or EMDR are a plus but not required.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus.

Strong ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, demonstrating clear and respectful communication.
