Employment Type: Contract role on W-2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. (A&B Talent)
Work Arrangement: Remote
Payrate: $60.00 - $64.00

Who we are looking for / Requirements:

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript with 3+ years of hands-on experience in modern web development.
• Strong experience with Ionic framework for hybrid mobile application development.
• Solid understanding of mobile development concepts, responsive design, and cross-platform considerations.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (Angular preferred, given Ionic's integration).
• Knowledge of mobile app deployment processes for both iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with mobile development tools, simulators, and testing on physical devices.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and ability to implement intuitive user interfaces.
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with build tools and package managers (npm, webpack, etc.).
• Understanding of mobile security best practices and data protection.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with focus on mobile or hybrid development.
• Experience with Cordova/PhoneGap plugins and native device feature integration.
• Knowledge of mobile performance optimization techniques.

Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:

• Develop and maintain hybrid mobile apps with Ionic (JavaScript/TypeScript), ensuring responsive, cross-platform performance on iOS and Android.
• Write clean, maintainable code, participate in reviews, and mentor junior developers to uphold best practices.
• Collaborate with designers for pixel-perfect UI and integrate apps with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues across devices, and implement mobile features (push notifications, camera, sensors).
• Contribute to project planning, stay current with Ionic and mobile trends, and support continuous improvement in development practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business-aligned solutions and fulfill responsibilities as assigned.
