Title: Cloud Security & Infrastructure Architect (AWS, Azure, GCP)
LacatioJefferson City, MO

The Cloud Security & Infrastructure Architect will support the State of Missouri's ITSD in designing, implementing, and securing cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and security frameworks to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure for critical state systems.

• Design and implement secure, compliant, and optimized multi-cloud solutions.
• Configure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
• Support cloud adoption, migration planning, and environment setup.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation (runbooks, diagrams, policies).
• Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to align infrastructure.
• Provide expertise in SIEM solutions and cloud-native security tools.
• Ensure compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, HIPAA, and other frameworks.
• Mentor and support existing cloud teams.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and escalate complex challenges.
• Deliver weekly/monthly status reports and participate in project reviews.

• Required:
  • 6+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Ansible, Aurora, Elastic Beanstalk, IaaS, PaaS, and cloud databases.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security hubs (AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, GCP Security Command Center).
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) and automation.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
  • Strong scripting/automation skills.
  • Professional demeanor with strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Preferred:
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, CCSP).
  • Experience working with state government or large-scale public sector IT systems.
  • Prior experience in Missouri IT environments.
