Job Description

Position: Cloud & AI (EAI) Software Engineer

Location: Palo Alto, CA OR Ann Arbor, MI (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)

Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable cloud-based systems to support Enterprise AI workloads.
• Implement and maintain critical systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with different teams to integrate services across the machine learning model lifecycle.
• Establish development standards and CI/CD practices to streamline deployment.
• Monitor production systems, respond to incidents, and ensure uptime and reliability.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (production-level) and container technologies.
• Expertise in cloud/distributed architectures and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in Python or Golang .
• Knowledge of scalability, reliability, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with databases and cloud storage.
• Exposure to tools like Kubeflow, Ray, Kueue, or Flyte.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
• Understanding of the machine learning development lifecycle.
