Job Summary

W e  are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Technician to manage and execute live or recorded online broadcasts for events, meetings, and presentations. This position involves setting up and operating AV equipment, ensuring seamless technical delivery, and troubleshooting issues in real time. The role includes collaboration with presenters and marketing/communications teams, occasional content editing and post-production, and contributing to a high-quality final product.

Job Description

• Set up and support live, virtual, and hybrid webcasts
• Operate and support Microsoft Teams Room video conferencing systems
  
• Manage AV equipment setup, operation, and breakdown for events
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during broadcasts
  
• Support AV-related projects and participate in team meetings
  
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver polished events
  
• Maintain and expand knowledge of current AV technologies and systems
  
• Escalate non-AV-related technical or facilities issues to the appropriate departments
  
• Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols while working onsite
  
• Take ownership of individual AV projects as needed
  
• Occasional travel between local sites and up to 10% domestic travel may be required
• Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM M-F

Skills Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the multimedia or AV service industry
• Strong organizational and time management skills
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills
  
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple complex activities
  
• Basic IT and networking knowledge
  
• High integrity and commitment to delivering quality AV services
• Yamaha Audio Mixer: QL and DM Series
• Blackmagic Design Video Switcher: Atem Constellation Series
• Telestream Wirecast
• Elgato Stream Deck with Bitfocus Companion
• Bitfocus Companion programming for system automation
• Integrated control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX)
• General soundboard operations and AV component handling

Education

• High Sch ool diploma required;
• BA/BS degree preferred, but not required

Pay Rate

• $30 per hour and higher depending on experience
